Finally having exited the Memorandum of Abraxas, you quickly find out that the world outside has progressed more than 150 days, bringing you closer to the end of the winter year. You message Archmage Khelem, who seems very busy with his new position as Minister of Arcana at the Congregation of Unity. Another message is directed towards Shaevera Rinowen asking her rudely where she has disappeared to. She demands an apology from Happy, who begrudgingly follows up with the best he can do. She promises that she will meet you all again, but that she has to report her findings to the elf king and prepare some things.
Soon after, you visit General Pren Reilgar who fills you in on what you have missed in the lost time:
- Prime Minister Yennas Zinjeon has stepped down and was replaced by Loon Maro, a wealthy lord from Ardenfort, whose generous donatinos helped Zeantis get through the food shortage earlier this winter. Reilgar reports that the new guy is a little odd, but could also provide much soldiers from the southern Zeantis regions to the war effort.
- War preparations are in motion, Reilgar himself is in the lead to organize a grand Drimean army and training soldiers. Outside of Zeantis, a big town of tents was built, housing the new army.
- The Taesi Wood Elves and some tribes of Kalderbiod will join the Drimean army.
- Ryvenor has closed its borders and sits out the war.
- The Iron Army has diminished over the last 15 weeks, only 2/3 it's head size, but they still return to the gathering point each sunday.
- Dozens of ships are being constructed in Elderburg
- The Forbidden Mist has been lifted, revealing the continent of Alyf and Avalon
- Various fractions have already established forts on Avalon.
- Strange absence of titan activity. No sign of the Hand of Morlin.
- The colonies beyond have been completely wiped out by the grey plague and the cadacho channel has been locked down. Zios is there, looking for a cure.
Happy also contacts his brother Huuk, learning that he and his father are okay, but some pirates have turned into stone already.
Back in the I.R.A. Headquarters, you talk to Janna, who has learned the Prestidigitation cantrip that she immediately demonstrates. She has been keeping the old guild hall surprisingly clean. She also announced herself as leader and "Quartermaster" of the Inconvenience Removal Agency, promoting Happy to "Lead Guard" and Egbert to "Jester". Janna tells you that Gawrth has been here a few weeks ago, drenched in blood, but not his own. He said he regained some old memories while losing some others - and that he intends to retire in his new cabin at lake Zeantis near Ardenfort in the south of the continent.
After a little shopping trip, Drem enlists Janna into the Ki Shrine in Zeantis, leading her on the way of the monk in Jeff's honor. You also give her Jeff's Titan Gauntlets, which makes Happy sad after hearing what the legendary item might be worth in gold. You also buy an invisible, magically sealed chest for the HQ funds that Janna promises to move every day.
Having stocked up on fire resistance equipment, you - with the help of Seer Derek - scry on Mount Ashcloud, where you suspect more clues to the whereabouts ofAmón. The volcanic island has once been ground on which Zeantis was built upon, but after a disastrous eruption, turned into the home of Xander, the "King of Ashes", red dragon elder, brother of Amon. You direct your new magic tree in your courtyard to the destination, and step through the portal to begin the quest to rescue the Lorekeeper.
