Krikrun

Appearance: Chitin exoskeleton comes in shades of green or brown. They have 4 limbs for mobility that end in 3 claws, 2 primary arms that end in a hook with serrated edge along their inner forearm. 2 4 digit ending arms that begin on their mid chest. Their jaw splits into 4 mandibles.

Statistics: +2 to Str, -2 to Int, +2 to Dex, suffer a bane to all checks that require finesse excluding combat rolls.

Biology: Krikrun have a calcium exoskeleton similar to mammalian bones. Their diet favours raw meats and fruits, they gain little to no benefit from cooked foods.

Culture: Krikrun have recently emerged from a warrior culture and have adopted a much more open minded and loving culture. Krikrun adore physical affection, which consists of embracing another Krikrun or person with their sword and manipulator arms, which can be very hazardous when not wearing correct protection when you have a hug frenzied Krikrun on your ship.

History: The Krikrun's early culture was one of blood and supremacy, strength in counted skulls and volume of blood. Their home planet had intense global seasonal changes, where winter would deprive the surface of almost all plant life, leaving only tree eating megafauna to be hunted, as other animals hibernated. As they domesticated these megafauna into a battle species and a cattle species, they began to diversify their diet, plant seeds of vegetables and fruits that would finish growing at the eve of winter. Letting their civilisation grow to the a Early Industrial age before being discovered by the Imperium and given citizenship. In their early industrial history they had wars that saw no end with Khans and Warlords leading nations through armies, not civility. With success in society being perceived as being a great warrior.
