Wintertop Fort is the highest settlement upon the steep approaches to Kero Fin. It is a small town, ruled by King Unstey, ready to provide porters, climbers, and haulers to anyone who pays. The inhabitants call themselves the Old Tarshites, are openly anti-Lunar Orlanthi, and have allied themselves with the bloodthirsty priestesses of the Shaker Temple.
