This clan of about 1,200 people is also called the “Apple clan.” They grow grain and fruit trees in the upper Arfritha Vale, and herd cattle and sheep in the Thunder Hills and Quivin Mountains. Their largest settlement is the market village of Fairjowl.
The clan was founded circa 1425 in the aftermath of the Zarran War to occupy the upper Arfritha Vale. Its members came from the clan that had lived there before, and from ambitious people from several other clans, especially the Varmandi clan. They have close connections to the Lysang and Namolding clans, who have been part of the Malani tribe since 1613.
The clan’s wyter resides in a sacred apple grove that is tended to by the local Earth priestess. The chief serves as the clan’s Storm Voice, warleader, and judge.
