This small clan of about 600 people resides in a settlement the upper reaches of The Stream around Kjartan Lake, near the base of Wild Mountain. There they fish, farm, hunt, and raise herds of cattle and sheep. They are commonly called the “Salmon clan” and that fish is a staple of their diet; the Enjossi practice weir fishing.
In 1476, a man named Enjossi claimed he could bring the salmon back to The Stream, which had been without them since the river had changed course over 150 years earlier. Despite the long odds, and the potential risk to the clan - the Balmyr king had already refused his support - the king of the Colymar supported Enjossi, and he succeeded. Since then there have been many salmon in it each year, and Enjossi’s clan has thrived.
The clan’s wyter is a salmon that lives in Kjartan Lake that talks with the clan’s chieftain, who is also the clan’s Storm Voice.
