Lupin grew up watching Racers zoom past his mother's restaurant in Downtown Infinity, where they'd stop in for lunch and talk shop. Like many other Racers, Lupin developed a heightened spatial awareness at an early age, and as soon as he was old enough to get behind the wheel he set his sights on becoming a great Racer in his own right.
He worked his way up through the ranks as a solo Racer for many years before being signed to SIN Motor Club, later becoming their lead driver; he would lead the team to win two IGPX World Cups.
Two years ago, his mother's health took a turn for the worse, and he retired from the racing circuit and he moved back home to Japantown to take care of her.
Not content with giving up driving entirely, he now runs a small courier business and spends the rest of his time staring out at the ocean from Park Slope or occasionally working for one of the motor clubs as a driving instructor for aspiring Racers.
