Known as the Young Genius, Donnie Edogawa grew up in the slums between Japantown and Capital Plaza. He earned his nickname solving neighborhood disappearances, and was part of the city's Kid Sleuths program before it was shut down due to budget cuts.
After attending the police academy, he continued to solve cases with an efficiency not seen by many of the IPD's officers.
Publicly, he is now assigned to the IPD's major crimes unit, which works high profile cases that involve the city's notable players.
