Carl Geist was born in Berlin, Germany in 1880. He was the son of a wealthy industrialist who instilled in him a love for education and philosophy at a young age. Geist excelled academically and earned a degree in philosophy from the University of Berlin in 1903.

After graduation, Geist became an assistant professor at the University of Leipzig where he taught courses in ethics and political philosophy. It was here that he developed a deep interest in the issues of social justice, democracy, and human rights.

As the early Nazi party began to rise to power in the late 1920s, Geist became increasingly concerned with its ideology and its impact on German society. He was an outspoken critic of the party's anti-Semitic policies and its disregard for the values of human dignity and individual freedom.

Despite his criticisms, Geist continued to teach and write about ethics and philosophical issues. He began to be harassed on an almost daily basis by thugs in Brown Shirts until his death in 1921.

His sire, hearing the teacher speak at a Beer Hall, had been following Carl for several nights and had listened in on a few of his lectures that were held in the evening. He appreciated Carl's fervent and erstwhile nature as the teacher attempted to turn his students from the dark path their nation was seeking.
Julius faked the death of the teacher one night after a severe beating from some Brown Shirts and embraced him. He knew they couldn't remain in Germany, and it was doubtful they could even remain in Europe, so they fled to the United States where Julius' first childe had taken up residence in SE Florida.
