Dirk started out his life on a farm, but due to his extremely short stature could do very little work. He soon joined a traveling circus as a side show and capitalized on his 3'7" height. It was a humiliating life, but he had friends and a place to stay. He had money in his pocket and food in his belly, yet he was still lonely. One night, long after the last punter went home, Dirk was settling in sleep when a Sabbat pack swept through the circus. The pack had been on the losing side of a fight with another pack and needed recruits. He felt fangs sink deep into his neck and was digging his way out of a mass grave. His body was still changing due to the Curse the Nosferatu suffer. He screamed in pain as his body contorted and stretched, as his bones elongated and grew, and as his hair melted. The pack was wiped out a few years later, leaving Dirk as one of the few survivors. He took the chance to flee their violence, cruelty, and evil and has begun to settle into Miami. How Frank White found out Dirks past, he has no idea, but he will do whatever he can to keep his past a secret so he can have a place to live.
