one of the few masters of Koldonic Sorcery in the Order
Born, and raised, in the small town of Yelnya in Western Russia he was always studious. His mother brought in one of her uncles from Romania, herself being from Romania having met Andre's father during the Russo-Turkish War. She knew that Andre had 'the gift', the ability to wield sorcery passed down by the lords and nobles of Romania. Andre took to his new education with enthusiasm, much to the delight of his new tutor 'Uncle Vanya'. Andre was quite adept at the use of Koldunic Sorcery and it was thought that his Uncle would bring him into the Tzimisce clan but rumors of the Tzimisce deep in Brujah territory drew the attention of the local Camarilla.
A band of Brujah moved on the small farm where Andre was being raised and educated, attacking when he was in his mid-20's. The group of Brujah, and their Tremere allies, swept through the town slaughtering everyone they came across. The Tremere were shocked to watch Andre employ Sorcery as he defended his teacher, but was easily subdued. Andre watched as his family were killed and he was carted off to Austria by one of the older Tremere. His fate was decided by the council, and he was embraced.
Since then, he has delved deeper into the Koldunic mysteries to expand his knowledge and abilities. Andre has not yet found a pupil that is capable of using Koldonic sorcery and remains one of the few practitioners in the Order
