Yalina was the daughter of Vincent Florantine, a notable silk merchant in Sharn. Her father had planned to marry her to a business associate of his; objecting to this, Yalina had fallen in with a werewolf named Corvus, who had offered to turn her and keep her as part of his harem. She ran away from her father to Corvus' layer within the sewers of Sharn, to join the other young women that had also been swayed by the charismatic werewolf. Her plans were foiled by the intervention of the Jade Foxes, hired by her father; with Corvus slain, she had no choice but to return to her father.
Yalina was a huge fan of the band Bardic Glory, and kept a poster of the dwarven trio on her bedroom wall.
