The Way

One of the Twelve Dragonborn Paths (collectively known as The Way), the Path of Waves involves mastery of the glaive, magic, and a deep understanding of the world, gained through meditation and exploration. A lifetime can be spent studying the Path and the ancient scriptures defining it.

The ranks of the Path of Waves are:

  1. Initiate
  2. Adept (level 4)
  3. Expert (level 8)
  4. Master (level 12)

To achieve the next rank, a form of test must be passed, involving the glaive, magic, and a test of the mind.

The PCs recently discovered the true origins of the Path of Waves; that it was founded in order to protect the manifest zone between Q'Barra and Risia (see JF19. Completing The Circle). This would come as a huge revelation to any member.
