The Duke of Ravenia and the queen's nephew. He is known for being a friend of the barbarians, and has allowed a much higher number than usual to live in the town--creating a "Barbarian Town" outside of the city.
He has taken it upon himself to investigate the murders of Father Ombardo and Yarmar, telling his own town guard to leave it alone. He also took Leandro into protection (pretending to arrest him in relation to the murders), possibly hinting at ties to the Reformists.
