Lithodontism

Anatomical Allomorphism

Lithodermia is the integration of micro-deposits of stone in the tooth enamel of Feral Blues. The friction of grinding their teeth on stone to eat cave slime mold partly files the perpetually-growing teeth down, but also leads to aggressive calcification of the tooth enamel that catches and integrates pieces of stone into the structure of the tooth, creating a what is effectively a stone fang, usually 2" in length. It is a symptom in Feral Blue Syndrome, and exclusive to the Blue genotype.
