Marxist Arcology is a critical movement in the field of Arcology (Science).
It gained currency as a response to Arco-Engineering ("Welfare Arcology"), calling notice to a number of "contortions in design" effected by the assumption of Capitalist labor relations, which to the Marxists belie contradictions in the Capitalist worldview. A classless, propertyless design would by nature be more efficient.
It calls for the removal of structures that divide an Arco by social class, and do not carry the assumption of private property into the design.
