Eco-Arcology is the collection of design knowledge accrued in the first use of Arcology (Science) beyond the theoretical sphere.
Eco-Arcology was originally part of the response to Earth's Climate Collapse, but the challenge of reaching sustainability persists as an Arcological movement today, drawing new inspiration from Samsari technology.
It is inherently a revolutionary movement in the field, critical of Arco-Engineering ("Welfare Arcology") which sought only to address the harms of an ecologically destructive lifestyle rather than challenge the structures that led to it. For this reason the principles of Eco-Arcology and Marxist Arcology often come into concordance.
