The AMCL Open League is the publicly accessible portion of the AMCL. Participants are often complete amateurs, not ready to compete for prizes larger than a subsistence. This is where the weak wash out, and there are plenty of people to help them in their downfall.
The Open League has spawned a minor economy around itself of people either ready to die or take advantage of someone who won't live long enough to find out. This at least rejuvenated the economy of Henderson, which was still probably the worst place on Earth. Henderson is the largest League City in North America.
Requirements were next to none. Any Applicant who had a vehicle could apply individually.
