The Arkassouri Commonwealth was a failed state, highly unpopular with its residents. The corporate powers headquartered here, foremost among them All*Mart, had spearheaded the secession from the United States of America after Federal Emergency Austerity Act (FEAA). But the result was disastrous, with the region languishing in neglect as the corporate arco-plex in Bentonville amassed wealth.
The Commonwealth was overthrown by the people of the region, under the partial leadership of then-Journeyman Hitchhiker, Felix Hawkins. He established Guild Protectorate of Arkassouri, and later Kingdom of Ozarka.
