A Direct Neural Interface (DNI, pronounced "Dini") is any hardware or software setup that allows connectivity between a Headcomputer and another device.
Originally, these were largely implemented via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technologies, but several scandals and lawsuits later, the norm regressed to a retractable hard wire with a jack input.
