Techno-Optimism is any response to a crisis that purports that technological changes can address problems to a degree that systemic changes need not occur. It is one facet of LateStageCapitalism's inertia, and a pillar of its disastrous response to Earth's Climate Collapse. Generally, the belief is an ex post facto justification for inertia rather than a guiding principle.
