The Gary Uprising was a popular revolt against the Gary Free State Regime's authoritarian policies. The movement was crushed by force by Jaivon Townsend (Gary)'s security forces.
Various groups were involved, most notably the Whole Children, who were opportunistically designated the ringleaders of the movement. This became the basis for the even more restrictive policies that laid the foundation for the formation of Gary (City-State).
