Oma Bhancha was an historical figure of great importance in the history of the AmericanSasquatchCivilization. He was the first in recorded history to traverse the Mississippi Cave River Complex all the way to the surface. This complex is far deeper than others in North America, and steeper as well, making ascension to the surface something akin to mountain climbing. His role in Sasquatch history is something akin to a cross between Galileo, Lewis & Clark, and Marco Polo all in one.
On later voyages, Bhancha made first contact with the neighboring Sasquatch communities who had long been networking. He was effectively the first emissary from what would become the major population center and hub of Sasquatch civilization. At that time it was a backwater, but it would later become a melting pot of all the local tribes and a thriving center of power. It seemed like an unlikely future for the slightly overpopulated backwater at the time.
After the Flooding of the Mississippi Delta, the river flowed anew and ascension was more easily attained by general pioneer populations. They have since settled the entire river complex up to the surface level.
Children's Game
Oma Bhancha is also an eponymous Sasquatch children's game where they stack all the stuff in the house and climb it, the little shits. This is based on Bhancha's stories of his travels, as well as a general Sasquatch superstition from pre-expansion times that the higher you ascend away from the mouth of the river, stone becomes more fickle.
