Comfycore or ComfortCore is the cultural current of prioritizing comfort.
In Fashion
Comfycore centers heavily around grey sweatpants both as a wardrobe item and as an aesthetic. Soft, sturdy fabrics with baggy and utilitarian appearances are the norm.
The Glamor Stain
There is an especial tolerance of food stains in Comfycore - to the extent that its proudest adherents cultivate such stains to optimize social clout. More extreme versions of the Glamor Stain are controversial within the community (See TrueComfy section below).
In Society at Large
Comfycore is credited with the market demand for the Bedatorium - an auditorium with upright beds for the audience instead of seats.
TrueComfy & Trukes
There is a small sub-culture of Comfycore that calls itself TrueComfy (its adherents "Trukes" for short), and attracts great criticism among other members of the community. TrueComfy is a movement toward un-filtering the less socially acceptable aspects of being truly comfortable.
Its original adherents were the most extreme practitioners of the Glamor Stain, suggesting that if one only considers food stains socially acceptable, they are self-censoring and thus not truly comfortable. True comfort would be going out in public with your clothes stained with shit and piss and cum and puke and doodoo ha ha. And forget bathing - that's an oppressive social construct endorsed by Show Poodles.
Terminology
Glamor Stain - Stains on clothing in general. The word "glamor" is decreasingly facetious.
Show Poodle - Derogatory term for anyone outside of Comfycore, especially critics. They are considered vain, wasteful, and elitist.
Truke - Adherent of TrueComfy fashion and culture. Just a truncation of "TrueComfy."
