A Great Harp is a superstructural musical instrument created from Boduan Arches and strings made from any of various materials.
Ancient Harpstrings were simply Sagukoye (Boduan Vine) ratcheted to tautness. This design requires a large resonant chamber or snarehead alongside the strings.
More sophisticated designs are audible without a resonant chamber, though it is not always eschewed.
Some designs include multiple resonant chambers at different points on the string, capturing and amplifying harmonic points.
A Great Harp may be placed inside a chamber or arch, and is a common public work, its music considered an important addition to quality of life in less austere cultures.
