The Mother Age is the period of Boduan Natural History characterized by a modern form of Mother Lomoi (Boduan), that competes for survival by accommodating a wide variety of symbiotes. It supplanted the Mother Age about 6-7 million years ago.

In contrast to the Bull Age, Competitive Uprootings are far less frequent than before.

The Mother Age has shifted survival in favor of relatively sedentary species who do not roam for resources and tend to be protective of territory. In particular, the oviparous Levosteoids benefited from this, proliferating after the passing of the Bull Age.

The Lomoi themselves developed into a less aggressive form, no longer uprooting each other with the frequency of before. This led to a far more stable Greatforest.
