Maring Out is the in-group term among Sleepwalkers for the experience of receiving a punishment from Oneiromancer through their Medium Crown. This takes the form of a nightmare calculated to perfectly evoke the ideal psychic torture tailored to that individual. This punishment is meted out for refusal to obey their master's bidding. It is followed by an Aftercareverie (lol) - an almost-as-transcendentally sublime experience meant to draw the follower back into Oneiromancer's fold (it's not hard with an addict).
