It is common for lyrics to be structured in the style of legal proceedings or documents, and tracks are often designated as falling into one or more lyrical styles. Proceedings often begin with an ominous Voir Dire and end with a sinister verdict. Cantae In Terrorem may alternate between Inculpations (Res Minatoria, Verba Rea) interspersed with rapid-fire guttural disclaimers and asides to minimize liability. Interrogatories are phrased as lists of questions generally phrased as vile or demeaning accusations.
