#SuchGoodBoy was a viral meme from the latter days of social media. Online discussions of animal psychology outraged dog owners and it became a trend to prove that their relationship with their dog was genuine and non-transactional. This first began as a series of simple mind games where the goal was to deny the expectations of dogs trained to a task-reward mindset. A dog might expect a treat or praise, but its owner would instead punish or ignore them. Then the dog would be surveilled for signs of rebellion and often punished again. The extremes of the trend resulted in an epidemic of abuse and neglect, as well as a general cultural denigration of people who don't abuse and neglect their pets. Pet owners who refused to take part in loyalty tests were tarred as Pet Pimps, Animal Traffickers or Pet-ophiles.
