Drow

Elven outcasts from before the schism which created High and Wood Elves. They sided with Ilalokthramek even after his ritual had rendered Phantom World unlivable and went into exile in the deepest darkest underdark beneath Hadira where over centuries they evolved unique traits specialized for fighting in the dark. Led by Ilalokthramek's Daughters who formed The Cabal After Nightfall they resurfaced in a bid to reclaim the surface world, after initial success their invasion was thwarted by an alliance of the surface races brought together by an unlikely group of escaped slaves. After The Reckoning left the surface of Hadira once again inhabitable most Drow retreated back into the Underdark until the invention of the Spelljammer allowed them to escape their ancestral prison and spread into the universe. For their escape they built a city sized spelljammer ship they call their Dread Ark. Mere leyline sails are unable to fully power this voidfaring city however nobody outside the ark knows exactly how it is powered instead. It is as slow and cumbersome as it's size suggests and traveling between solar systems takes it years or even decades where a leyline-powered spelljammer might take months. When they do finally arrive they send out their smaller and faster spelljammers called reavers, which plunder their way through the system. These reavers have been observed abducting entire villages or even small towns, leaving a planet's population decimated. None of their victims are ever seen again, fueling terrifying rumors of slavery or even blood sacrifices.
