The order's traditional hierarchy was adapted fit the new demands of policing a growing metropolis, resulting in the following hierarchy:
- Paladins: These Oathsworn Paladins lead the order in all things. All members of the circle are equal however deference is giving to those of greater seniority or those with unique talents. Some paladins are in charge of sectors of New Amet, others are in charge of specific departments like border security, internal affairs and extraplanar incursions. Only these elite Paladins are part of the Circle of Kiral, all ranks below them are merely part of the Order of Kiral.
- Squires: Squires serve directly below a specific paladin as their officers. Some are hopefuls working towards one day taking the oaths themselves but most are merely the leaders and bureaucrats who manage the day to day operations of policing the city. Each squire only reports to the paladin they have sworn loyalty to, as such each Paladin's department has their own hierarchy and jurisdiction conflicts are common between departments. Squires are equivalent to Lieutenants in a modern police force.
- Initiates: The common guards patrolling the city, each is part of a specific Paladin's department however initiates must defer and take orders from any squire. Most departments have organized their initiates into different ranks with First rank initiates being equivalent to sergeants, Second rank, detectives or veteran police and Third rank to be the common rank and file police.
