Upon finding the room, the [A Team] smelled the brine of salt water as the room opened up to a vast ocean expanse. Sybil Loreweaver activated her Amulet of Flight and flew from the landing to an altar on the wall extending from the door they entered through. The altar had the relief of a monster with multiple writhing tentacles. She touched a metal rod affixed near the altar and took a bit of psychic damage for an unknown reason. Then, the party sees tentacles rise out of the water and begin reaching for the party members. Hades Asteron stands firm and holds the line as the rest escape, having to escape from the tentacles' grasps to follow everyone through the door and back into The Tower of the Lost.
