Abithrax has carved powerful runes into this flaming crimson gem. After an appraisal from Gnash Crobs & Alandri, we learned that the runes carved into it allows the gem to recover the arcane energy embedded in it, given enough time after it is expended. This effect can be passed on if it is used as a material to craft/enhance an item.
