Immerstal, the Red, is Brindol's most prominent wizard and a noted enchanter to boot. He supplements his income as the court mage of Brindol making magic items and fancies himself a scholar and a businessman. His good looks, vanity, and skill can make him somewhat aloof and frustrating to spend time around. He is, however, considered indispensable; Lord Jarmaath even risking the ire of the Conclave by sheltering Immserstal.
His service to the rebellion is not ultimately altruistic. It is well known Lord Jarmaath instructed him to accompany the army from Morgaath to the mainland. He also seems interested in advancing his own abilities, as Immerstal is quick to remind anyone who will listen he is a Battlemage by trade.
Due to the events of the Greenwood Rebellion & his rediscovery of the Hall of Mirrors, Immerstal was able to realign with the Conclave. His efforts ended his previous exile, imposed by the previous Archmage of Evocation, and promoted him to be the Archmage of Evocation for the Conclave.
