Following the events of Shadow of the Black Claw, Hades joined with allies from the Revenant's Guild to save his hometown of Crosshill from Codrus and his lieutenant Bert Aldridge.
During the A Team's meeting with Archmage Logane Van Dahme, Codrus assaulted the Tower Arcana and stole Corellon's Gaze for the High Marches. He revealed his true form as a Pit Fiend devil of the Hells. He then later teamed up with Tera, lackey of the Witch King, to interfere with the signing of a peace treaty between the Greenwood Rebels & the High Marches in 832 PB that could have ended the war.
