A cannon uses gunpowder to propel heavy balls of cast iron through the air at destructive speeds. It is usually supported in a wooden frame with wheels.
Before it can be fired, the cannon must be loaded and aimed. It takes one action to load the weapon, one action (or bonus action) to aim it, and one action to fire it.
A character loading the cannon must have a Cannon Ball and a suitable amount (5lbs) of gun powder. A Gunpowder, Keg contains enough gun power to load the cannon 4 times.
Rather than aiming the cannon the cannon may be "quickly aimed" as a bonus action. When fired, subtract 4 from the roll to hit.
Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, one target. Hit: 44 (8d10) bludgeoning damage.
If the target is a Large or smaller creature, the cannon becomes +0 to hit, and subtract the target's dex for every 5ft it is away from from the cannon. On a hit the target is also knocked back 20 feet.
If the target is a Huge creature subtract the target's dex for every 10ft it is away from the cannon (minimum 1), on a hit the target is also knocked back 10 feet.
