- Detect Slope: You place the rock on a flat surface. The rock rolls detecting the direction and steepness of the slope. It may fail on a soft or sticky terrain.
- Detect Illusion: You can hurl the rock for up to 30ft. It detects an illusion if it passes through creatures or solid objects.
- Detect Invisible: You can hurl the rock for up to 30ft. It detects any invisible creatures or objects if its trajectory is unexpectedly interrupted.
- Detect Blindness: If you cannot see the rock, you are blind.
- Detect Fire: You hold the rock in front of you. The rock's temperature rises detecting any open flame 5ft in front of you.
- Detect Dwarf: If you are able to discern the age, composition or origin of the rock, you might be a dwarf.
- Detect Weather: You set the rock down outdoors. If the rock casts a shadow, sunny. If the rock is wet, raining. If it's white on top, snowing. If it jumps, earthquake. If it's gone, tornado/hurricane.
This almost spherical rock looks mundane and unassuming but on closer imagination, it possess great detecting capabilities. As a bonus action, you can hold, throw or set the rock on the ground then observe its effects.
