Properties:
Dark Whispers: Once per long rest, as a bonus action, the wielder can whisper dark words to the dagger, imbuing it with a malevolent energy. For the next minute, the dagger deals an additional 1d10 necrotic damage on a successful hit. However, during this time, the wielder suffers disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks as the whispers cloud their judgment.
Flickering Shadows: Once per day, as a reaction when the wielder is targeted by an attack, they can use the Dagger of Loathing to conjure fleeting shadows, granting them a +2 bonus to AC against that attack.
Cold to the Touch: The dagger always feels unnaturally cold, even in warm environments.
