The police force within Nakarta is armed only with tasers and a baton, and all chest plates contain a body camera that remains on at all times. Their body armor is lightweight while also remaining acid-rain resistant and cold proof. There are straps on the thigh around the waist on both sides to hang the helmet off of when the helmet is taken off, though most lawmen keep their helmet on unless inside the station.
The camera in the chest plate only cuts off when the battery dies, and the battery is incredibly long lasting. The chest plates are set to charge when in storage, and once unplugged from the charging station the camera cuts on.
The current head of the police force is Adam “Fox” De Luca. Adam is known among the sex worker community due to the fact he spent several years undercover helping the community and is often seen running around like your average beat cop. He’s known for undermining corruption within his own police force and regularly makes an example of lawmen that cross a line. People are very worried for when Adam plans on retiring, but Adam says he’s not leaving the force until he dies.
