Hocum's Fantasmagorium once served Kintargo as a strange mix between a museum and a freak-show, but it has been closed for decades now. The boarded-up Hocum's Fantasmagorium is located in the northern end of the Redroof district, and unlike the majority of the district's buildings, it is constructed from Kintargo's distinctive white limestone rather than redbrick.
Shortly before the city's liberation from Thrune rule, it was raided by the Hellknights in an operation that remains a mystery to this day (for most citizens anyway). Rumors have spread that the tower is haunted, after the knights used dark magic to animate a zombie guardian to keep out prying eyes. While the zombie is long-gone, the rumors persist, and most townspeople refuse to get within a stone's throw of the place. Those few that do, however, claim that they have often spotted a pair of shining golden eyes watching them from the shadows, usually just before booking it in the opposite direction.
