First built as a temple in honor of Aroden, House Thrune made certain that the building was repurposed in a manner befitting the Chelish empire and installed priests of Asmodeus within its walls. Over time, as the empire's militancy increased, they shut down the Mayoral offices in Andos Hall and funneled all administrative work through the church, renaming it The Administrative and Civic Center of Ravounel or, colloquially, The People's Temple.
Now, stripped once again of its authoritative power, the church still has a strong hold in the city, and boasts the largest following of any temple on Temple Hill. It is the largest temple in Kintargo and dominates the Temple Hill district.
