Mijnbou

The city of Mijnbou (MEENbau) follows the northern shore of Aurica. The Single-Shore City is named for its unique Storm Voyage. Rather than sailing to a second location in the dry season, residents of this city split up for six months out of every year to live as scattered nomads. Some fleets of Mijnbouans sail a trade route, while other ships join up with another dock town. No matter their destination, the city reconvenes in the off-season. They share stories and spoils from their months spent abroad, enriching each other’s lives. This culture of travel and information gathering makes Mijnbou the home of many great Al’ar birdkeepers.
