Glowfort Castle, or what remains of it, is a stark and somber sight to behold. Once a grand and imposing structure, it now stands as a lone tower rising from the glass-like surface of the crater. The tower itself is made of gray stone, weathered and eroded by time and the elements. Its walls are thick and pitted with cracks and crevices, and its windows are dark and empty, staring out at the desolate landscape beyond.
The inner walls of the castle are even more eerie, frozen in time by the Glowfall Cataclysm. The buildings and defenders trapped within the time-stop are cut in half by the surface of the glass-like floor, with their roofs and upper floors having disintegrated from the blast. The empty streets and buildings are still, as if waiting for the return of life that will never come. The only sounds are the echoes of footsteps and the distant howls of the undead that roam the area.
Outside the walls of Glowfort Castle is the frozen battlefield, a surreal scene of warfare frozen in time. The warring factions are locked in an eternal struggle, with arrows and magic spells suspended mid-flight and soldiers caught in various states of combat. The ground itself is torn and churned by the intense fighting, with craters and trenches marking the positions of the opposing armies. It is a haunting and unsettling place, a reminder of the destructive power of magic and war.
