Varang was the ancient founder of the Ruby Vanguard. He founded the organization during the revloution against the opressive rule of the last of Terrams Triarchs: theTerror Triarch. He wrote the book "The Crimson Knight" as a way of perserving the Ruby Vanguards legacy.
