The Rauknep is a ancient Goliath family who has been able through it's affiliation with the Ruby Vanguard been able to trace it's founding to the old Lonepeak jarl Varang the Stormcleaver who is believed to be one of the Ruby Vanguards founders.
The family has since the time of their founder had multiple jarls who hail from their line, but due to how Goliath Challenge Law works haven't had any on the throne for the past century.
