the Dragon Fangs

The Dragon Fangs, situated at the North-Eastern edge of The Hariq desert, is a place of mystery and legend, where the convergence of the northern and eastern winds creates a unique and enigmatic atmosphere. Among these remote cliffs, the rumor of a powerful and noble protector, Janaga Bronzeheart, a bronze dragon who has made her home in this place where the wind stands still.

Janaga's lair, hidden beneath the foundations of a long-forgotten lighthouse thats perched on a windswept clifftop overlooking the vast expanse of the sea. Accessible only through a hidden smuggler's dock, this subterranean cave is concealed by an underwater tunnel that winds its way through the labyrinthine depths, hidden behind the remnants of a shipwreck graveyard.

Within her lair, one would find an eclectic collection of treasures, many of which were likely salvaged from the ships that met their end on the treacherous cliffs outside. Gleaming gems, ornate jewelry, and artifacts of bygone eras are scattered amid a trove of glittering riches. The lair's atmosphere is filled with the echoes of history, as weapons and armor, each with its own story, are displayed as if in a grand armory.

In addition to the treasures, Janaga's lair boasts a small library filled with tomes and scrolls, hinting at her thirst for knowledge and her dedication to her role as a guardian. These writings encompass a wide range of topics, from ancient lore to maritime navigation and even the histories of distant lands. The collection reflects Janaga's insatiable curiosity about the world she protects.

A wall constructed from ship debris separates the entrance from the inner sanctum of her lair, where she nests and rests between her vigilant patrols. This nesting area is adorned with a dozen flags and sails, each bearing the mark of a ship that met its fate at the Dragon Fangs. These flags are not trophies but serve as a somber reminder of the perils faced by seafarers in these treacherous waters.

Janaga Bronzeheart's lair is a place where the past and present converge, where the winds whisper ancient secrets, and where the guardian of the Dragon Fangs watches over her domain with unwavering resolve and vigilance.

The Chemist and the Dragon

The year 2800 AT brought a dire and unexpected situation to the Church of the Platinum Dragon in Ankh-Morport. The absence of Janaga Bronzeheart, their revered guardian, did not go unnoticed. Concerned for her well-being and the well-being of the region she protected, the church called upon the Champions of the Ankh to investigate the mystery that had befallen their guardian.

Setting forth on this perilous mission, the champions journeyed to the remote Dragon Fangs, where Janaga's lair resided. What they discovered was a scene of dark and sinister magic at work. The Dragonborn sent to summon Janaga had not only failed in their mission but had been subjected to a heinous transformation, mutating into grotesque creatures known as Woe Striders under the influence of a malevolent force—The Black Bonfire.

Entering Janaga's lair, the champions were met with an alarming sight. The mighty bronze dragon, was ensnared by powerful magic and subjected to a nightmarish ritual. An alchemist named Clementine, steeped in the dark arts, had taken control of the situation. With perverse intentions, Clementine was draining Janaga's life essence; her potent dragon blood, and infusing it with vile unatural sorcery.

The result of this unholy union was the creation of the Woe Striders, monstrous reptilian abominations imbued with potent antimagic abilities. These twisted creatures were now under Clementine's command, a threat to both Janaga and the world at large.

In a fierce and desperate battle, the champions of the Ankh confronted Clementine and her vile minions, determined to put an end to her dark machinations. The struggle was fierce, but their resolve was unbreakable.

With great effort and sacrifice, they managed to defeat Clementine and her sinister forces. Janaga, who had been traped and tormented, was finally freed from her magical bonds. Weakened but still resolute, she pledged her aid to the Firetide Conclave, recognizing the grave threat posed by the Black Bonfire and the need to protect the realm from such malevolent forces.

Thus Janaga Bronzeheart joined the Firetide Conclave in their defence, as they stood together in the Ankh-Bonfire War, united in their determination to thwart the dark designs of the Black Bonfire and preserve the safety and sanctity of The Hariq desert.
