Tzipi "Zippy" Livni is an Israeli-American nurse from Los Angeles. Tzipi's parents are very well off and intensely pressuring her to marry and produce grandchildren for them. As a young person, Tzipi was very interested in aviation. She got a pilot certificate in airplane and rotor-craft and even contemplated aviation as a career. But as a young adult, she felt pressure from her parents to chose something more gender appropriate. Additionally, Tzipi found the level of attention she received as one of the few young women in the field fairly oppressive. So aviation is now just a hobby. Tzipi grew up in the US but served in the Israeli army at her parents insistence (to ensure her Israeli citizenship). Tzipi's parents approved of Tzipi majoring in nursing in college (to virtue signal her ability to be a good mom) but disapprove of her working as a nurse (beneath the family's dignity). Tzipi finds the family pressure and career disappointment to be so intense that she contemplates suicide. Knowing that it would be too difficult to keep up appearances with Tzipi's overbearing parents at home, Tzipi has taken a traveling nurse job at the hospital in New Eden.
Pollianaka is a delusionally optimistic Scourge Demon. She is a Reconciler and still loves humanity. In the beginning, she taught the people how to get along and be creative. In the war among the angels, she hated killing the other angels and especially hated killing humans. But she felt she was doing what was best for humanity. Now having escaped the Abyss, she still wants to help people.
Second Run
Zippy found as much as she wanted to help others she lacked the experience and resources to do so. Goodfellow saw something in her and offered a hand up. Not a hand out mind you, a debt was incurred.
Years later the debt was called in and Zippy moved to New Eden. She joined court made connections with the Broken Sword circle by her deeds. Following the trail of missing homeless in town led her to the Salvation Garden district. A cult known as the Order of the Crimson Dawn were practicing infernal rites involving human sacrifice hiding Behind the facade of Red Lion Realty while following their pattern of purchase led to unveiling over the course of the city’s growth the sigil for “bastion or place of power” could be found. The center of the sigil was the Hotel Lamont.
Kelbura, the Demon Prince was more than happy to accommodate her request for overseeing Salvation Gardens because no one else wanted it and no resources had ever been found.
Goodfellow knew Zippy was dead when her now thrall Phillip Lamont used her emergency phone. A second cell was sent in as separate friends looking to take revenge. Research found Zippy had been killed by the cult. Literally stomped to death. Occult runes along with celestial runes were found hidden around the house in a feng shui inspired pattern. This hodgepodge of a spell acted as a trap to immobilize or stop Zippy’s access to faith.
Further investigation found a hidden journal of Zippy outlining finding an artifact in the form of a crystal. Many hypotheses of use but felt certain it was a keystone that unlocked something but lock was never found. The circle returned to Hotel Lamont and while talking about possibilities in the elevator. When in close proximity to button pad the keystone reacted and took to a side space where they found what was dubbed the white room and the Elohim Kailith.
Goodfellow called in help when hearing of this.
