Lore of the Celestial
The Lore of the Celestial is the Lore of Faith itself. Dedicated to its uses and abilities. Those who dedicate themselves to this Lore will surely unravel the secrets of Faith itself. This is the Chalice of the First House.
• Align the Stars
Align the stars to suppress all supernatural effects within your domain.
Action: Instant
Duration: Hours equal to your Lore of the Celestial/Scene for Torment
Range: Miles equal to your Paragon
Faith: 5
Dramatic Failure: Gain the Eclipsed condition.
Failure: The faith is spent and the incantation fails.
Success: The Invocation activates ending any supernatural effects that extend beyond one instant action.
Exceptional Success: As success but, you may pick and choose which supernatural effects are ended for the duration.
Torment: You may gain control of a number of abilities equal to your Paragon. This effect lasts a scene.
•• Atonement
Faith demands they atone for their transgressions. You will etch it into their souls.
Action: Reflexive
Duration: Scene
Range: Line of Sight
Faith: 3
Dramatic Failure: As failure, but you also lose your moral footing gain the Guilty or Beaten Down condition.
Failure: The Faith Is spent, the incantation can still activate but you take an equal amount of damage.
Success: The Invocation activates without problem. For the scene you may roll Paragon+Celestial-Defense to attack directly as an instant action. Dealing damage to their Willpower as a +0 weapon. This effect isn't obvious however, once their willpower is fully depleted this will deal Aggravated damage as a +0 weapon.
Exceptional Success: As success but, any whom you damage with this gain either the Beaten Down or Guilty condition(only 1 of the two can be picked at the time of initiation)
Torment: Devour their soul’s faith. Regain a number of Faith/Willpower equal to the amount you take from them.
••• Mark of Heaven
Your power has become subtle enough you may mark another. You always know where they are.
Action: Reflexive
Duration: Days equal to your Paragon
Range: Touch
Faith: 1
Dramatic Failure: The invocation activates but not in the way you wanted. Any who possess the mark or marked object gain the informed condition in regards to you.
Failure: The Faith you mark them with doesn't stick and is washed away.
Success: The Faith you spent attaches to the target. Marking them for you. Spend a reflexive action and you may always know the exact location of a mark.
Exceptional Success: As success, but your Faith calls out to you. Gain the Rote quality on any rolls to help you get closer to the mark. You may also end this ability early recalling the Faith spent with an Instant action at a touch.
Torment: You will never let your mark go. Your mark persists even if Align the Stars is used. It can only be removed by you or by the Reap Invocation from the Lore of Death.
•••• Eyes of the Divine
You may sense the exact amount and “flavor” of a faith within a being by subtly flowing faith through your senses.
Action: Reflexive
Duration: Scene
Faith: 0
Dramatic Failure: The Invocation activates and is too much for your mortal body to handle. As failure, but you cannot attempt this Invocation again for a scene.
Failure: Gain the Blinded Tilt for turns equal to Paragon as you gaze too deeply.
Success: The Invocation takes hold. You may automatically sense if someone is supernatural and what type.
Exceptional Success: As success, but grant the Inspired condition in regards to all Invocation rolls and any social rolls vs. other supernaturals.
Torment: You yourself can cloud your own faith for a scene. Making it much harder to tell what you are. For the scene you may disguise yourself as human or another supernatural. Any supernatural powers to tell what you are only tell what you wish. Commonly known as “Spoofing” though it's hard to tell where this came from.

All divine beings can sense the remnants of faith, but few can understand the complexities enough to pinpoint its use and purpose.

Your powers over Faith are more intimate than most Demons or Angels. You may pinpoint where a power is used and by who if its power or user are within Paragon number of yards.
