Forge

Lore of the Forge

The Lore of creation of objects and machinery. This is the Sword of the Third House.

Vestige

Imbue a creation of yours with a divine Incantation

Action: Instant

Duration: Indefinite

Range: Touch/Miles equal to Paragon

Faith: 5

Dramatic Failure: As failure, but the object is cursed. Your ST can decide how it's cursed but try and use the Lore used as a guideline.

Failure: The Invocation doesn't take hold.

Success: You can imbue an object with an Invocation you can use or gain another's help and imbue an object with an Invocation they can use. This Invocation requires touching but can be sensed for a number of miles equal to Paragon.

Exceptional Success: If the Invocation is one of the providers Visage add the Visage bonus to any activation rolls, otherwise regain 2 Faith.

Torment: Rather than holding just an Invocation the Vestige may hold the Lore itself allowing the Vestige to be used to Invoke Miracles on the fly.

•• Heirloom

Allow an object to hold Faith. Unlike most Invocations, your ST makes this roll with your dice pool so it's secret.

Action: Instant

Duration: Indefinite

Range: Touch

Faith: 3

Dramatic Failure: As failure, but the rupture is more severe. Losing your Paragon worth of Faith per day(or double your Lore is Paragon is less)

Failure: As success, but you accidentally create a Rapture. The object losses Faith equal to your dots of Lore of the Forge(or Paragon, whichever is lower) each day.

Success: Your Invocation creates a nice pocket of Faith to hold. The object may hold a number of faith equal to your Paragon+Lore of the Forge. This Invocation may be cast more than once on an object to increase its storage up to your Lore of the Forge per Invocation. If the object is broken so is This Invocation and all Faith ruptures out.

Exceptional Success: As success, but the amount of Faith it can hold for this Invocation is doubled and any holes made are patched making you lose your Paragon less Faith.

Torment: The true power of this Invocation deals with souls. All souls even the broken ones can generate at least a little faith. As such any non Divine being that uses this object(Even mundanely). Has their soul stolen. Supernatural targets get a clash of wills with their highest resistance stat. The soul generates Faith for the object as though it was still inside a person.

••• Update Design

You may change the configuration or purpose of a machine or object.

Action: Instant

Duration: Scene

Range: Yards equal to Paragon

Faith: 1

Dramatic Failure: As failure, but take the Beaten Down tilt.

Failure: The matter doesn't move to your will.

Success: You adjust how the object works with the materials in place. Allowing you to adjust its form or use. For example you can turn a handgun into a rifle with more metal material. Combining it into one thing. Or making an obsidian shard into a knife by shaping It.

Exceptional Success: As success, but you gain the Rote quality on using the object.

Torment: You may directly control the object as though it was an extension of yourself.

•••• Modification

You may more subtly modify an object to work as you desire.

Action: Instant

Duration: Scene/Indefinite

Range: Line of Sight

Faith: 0

Dramatic Failure: The effect has the opposite of the desired outcome. Use Success but in the other direction. Also gain the Embarrassing Secret for even daring to create something so abysmal. You can do better.

Failure: The Incantation fails and the dice pool isn't modified.

Success: Any dice pool that uses the object gains an increased or decreased equipment bonus equal to your Lore of the Forge.

Exceptional Success: As success, but the modification is equal to your Paragon(Or Lore of the Forge+Paragon if Paragon is lower).

Torment: The modification lasts much longer becoming able to enhance the equipment bonus indefinitely.
