Goblins are regarded as war mongering monsters of artificial origin. Goblins will frequently pillage unsuspecting settlements of livestock, women, and infant children, making them hated by most races.
Clan Life
At the top of the Goblin hierarchy sits the Hag Mother. Though often aloof from her children, her mystical brew is essential to goblin reproduction and thus she holds the position of ultimate authority. A single Hag may control several Goblin clans at any given time. A clan that is cut off from its Hag Mother will inevitably die out unless it can ally itself with another Hag.
The second in command is the Goblin Chieftain who is often the oldest and most experienced Goblin in the clan. They are the one who handles the day-to-day governing of the clan.
Lastly, the Goblin War Priest is the one who leads the goblin forces and is typically the strongest goblin. Goblins clans often fight one another over territory, though these disputes rarely attract the attention of the Hag Mother who views them as mere petty squabbles among children. If the Chieftain were ever to die, the War Priest would assume the mantle of Chieftain before selecting a new War Priest to server under him.
Physiology
Goblin kind only consists of males, an intentional safeguard of the Hag's power. Women of other races are used as unwilling surrogates for the Goblins, becoming impregnated upon ingesting the Hag's brew. Goblins are like rats, having large litters. A goblin fetus will slowly consume the surrogate from the inside out, erupting from her abdomen once the pregnancy has come to term.
Location
Goblins are most prevalent in the warmer climates of Southern Limbuld through the Taranian Penninsula and into the southern mountain ranges.
Goblinoid Relations
Goblins are regarded as the lowest and weakest of the Goblinoids and are treated as such by Bugbears, and Hobgoblins.
