Living near Stroth (Town), this clan is the most "cosmopolitan" of the orcs, but that has only made them more protective of their traditions.
- Role in the Region: They act as "Toll-Keepers." They allow traders to pass through the Stroth riverways in exchange for steel, grain, and information.
- The Trial of Silt: To become a warrior of the Darkriver, an orc must submerge themselves in the coldest part of the river and hold their breath until they "hear the spirit Draugen speak." Those who fail are relegated to the "Mud-Diggers" (laborers), while those who succeed are marked with blue river-clay tattoos.
